Online Blended Learning Level 3 Childcare Studies (Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development). In the children workforce this qualification will give you the knowledge required in a nursery. This is aimed at learners looking to, or currently working with children from birth to 5 years, and also gain knowledge of children 5-8 years. The early years course prepares learners for employment as Early Years Educator, Team Leader or Manager. This course is also ideal for learners that have already completed the Level 2 for the Children & Young Peoples Workforce or those with existing experience of working with children. This early years course also provides an opportunity to those looking for confirmation of competence in working towards early years. Students looking to enrol onto this course should meet the following criteria: It is strongly advised that learners hold a Level 2 Course in Early Years or have previous experience working with children ( 2 years experience recommended) and a full understanding of the EYFS prior to enrolment. Students must have a confirmed placement in a nursery/preschool for duration of the whole course until completion (Approx 350 hours overall) – 12 months on average. Minimum 6 to 8 hours per week. Very good level of English. Access to computer & internet. Good computer skills with the understanding of uploading work. Work placemnet available. Aspire to succeed.
